Dear Sir:
The entire world is going through challenging and tough times. Coronavirus pandemic is spreading fast across the globe. As many as 271,796 people have been reported dead with this virus across the world. Total number of infected patients is 3,950,444; 1,359,395 infected people have recovered. The disease is spreading to other countries. Situation in Iran and Italy is also very critical.
In India to 57,306 people have been reported infected with this virus. 1,899 people have died. Indian Government has taken many preventive measures. All schools, colleges, universities, cinemas, etc. have been closed till March May 17, 2020.
It is very sad that in our country many people are taking it lightly. In spite of the lockdown they are coming out in groups without masks and gloves. They don’t maintain social distancing. Whenever people do this, they become exposed to the possibility of being infected with it. People must cooperate with corona warriors to contain the spread of this disease.
Through the medium of your newspaper I appeal to the people to stay indoors and help the Government tackle this situation.
