Sub- Indiscriminate use of microphones/ Loud Speakers

Sir,

I shall be highly obliged if you kindly allow me to ventilate through the columns of your esteemed daily, the inconveniences caused by the indiscriminate use of microphones/loud speakers.

The use of microphones/loud speakers has become a fashion now a days. Recently microphones/loudspeakers are used thoughtlessly. The thoughtless use of loud speakers/microphones is causing great disturbance to the peace-loving people. Continuous use use of microphones/loud speakers during different festivals or public meeting prevent old men form enjoying their leisure. The students cannot concentrate on studies. They also disturbs our sleep at night. The old and sick are generally disturbed by indiscriminate use of loud speaker/microphones. Microphones have become a nuisance in the hands of the youngsters. We cannot protest; it will be perhaps against public sentiment.

It is, therefore, high time for the Government to regulate the use of loudspeakers and microphones during festivals and similar occasions more stringently.

Thanking You,
