Everyday, the newspaper is full of cases which report accidents of high severity and intensity. When the cases are probed, normally what is found is that the accident could have been averted if the people involved had followed traffic rules.The need of the hour is that people should be made aware of and encouraged to abide by traffic rules, like to wear helmets and put on seat belts. Another important thing is, that people should be encouraged to stay within the speed limits.

Dear Sir / Ma'am,
Through the columns of your esteemed daily, I would like to highlight the importance of obeying traffic rules while driving on road.
Nowadays, the cases of road accidents have increased to a large extent. It is basically due to the fact that people are not willing to follow the safety rules of wearing a helmet when riding a two-wheeler and putting on seat-belts in a car.
Citizens must be sensitized to abide by these rules else the trend of unsafe driving will continue. It should be reminded that "speed thrills, but kills!"
