Sir
I write to you not as a concerned citizen at the apathy being shown to the ongoing social issues, but also as a volunteer to start doing something practical to clear all this clutter and start something positive. I feel ashamed at the sham, half hearted campaigns that are being kicked off through out the nation without some tangible results. There has been so much ado about nothing from the selfish, corrupt political leaders to relieve the society of its myriads of problems. Only media drama, only hype for media coverage! No actual work! For example, I along with a few volunteers desire to start tree plantation drive with the pure purpose of creating greenery in the city. I want you to write inspiring articles to shake and wake the sleeping souls of the city people so that they also start some real positive actions in their areas. I don't want any political involvement of municipal corporation officers, nor councilors. I just want to give the city more oxygen generating units. Through your letter I want to appeal to the sincere volunteers to undertake some real social work. I hope you will assist me in saving our world for the coming generations.
Yours truly
