Subject: Regarding the power cut supply.
Sir/Madam,
Through the esteemed columns of your newspaper, I would like to attract the attention of municipal authorities to the irregular power supply in our locality. We have been asking the authorities to fix the problem since a long time. But no response has been given to us regarding this matter.
Final Exams have arrived and the children have to study a lot, but due to the irregular power supply it is causing a great problem. In the whole day, we can see the glowing bulb once or twice. The appliances aren't working. We have spent our winters without the electricity, but it would cause a bigger problem for us in summers as we will not be able to switch on the fans & coolers. The household chores have been disrupted due to this.
Therefore, it is hereby requested to publish this matter in your newspaper. We shall be grateful to you for this act of kindness.
Thanking You.
Yours faithfully,
{ YOUR NAME }
Hope it helps...Thank You !

Subject: Frequent load shedding for three months in Kailash Colony.
Sir,
Through the columns of your esteemed national newspaper, I would like to express my concern on the crisis of frequent load shedding in Greater Kailash, South Delhi.
I am surprised that in spite of lodging several complaints with the power department, nothing has been done and the locality of Greater Kailash continue to face frequent load shedding for the last three months. Due to this the people of this locality are facing much hardship. It is also very unprofessional and callous that no reason for the load shedding was intimated to the residents.
Further, both parents and their children are very concerned with the frequent power cut as the annual final exams is already underway.
It must also be noted that it is the common people, the low income and hand to mouth groups of people who suffer the most during load shedding because they cannot afford to buy solar panels or generators.
I therefore request the power department and the authorities to look into the matter urgently and restore uninterrupted supply of power to the locality at the earliest.
Yours sincerely,
NIRMALA
