Dear Sir,

I take this opportunity of expressing through you my deep concern about the gradual increase in prices of essential commodities. This skyrocketing of prices needs to be checked on a war footing, otherwise it'll cause a lot of distress all around, especially among the poorer and downtrodden sections of society. Most of all, I'd appeal to the State and Central Governments to intervene and ensure that the abnormal rise in prices of essential commodities is brought down and stabilised without further delay.
