Sir,
through the column of your esteemed newspaper , i would like to bring to everybody's notice the increasing problem of environmental degradation faced by our society, Tilak Avenue.
the noise and air pollution has increased number of vechiles further add to this pollution. if the electricity goes off, then few residents put on their generators adding more to air pollution making the air unbreathable. moreover, the only green stretch of the area has been grabbed by the anti social elements who have cut down most of the trees illegally. no stretch of fresh air or walking stretch is left for children and elderly people.
this is a distess call meant for environmentalists. i hope my letter will find some place in your newspaper and the concerned authorities will find some solution for our problems.
