"""To the editor,

The Telegraph.

Respected Sir,

I am addressing this letter to you to complain about the atrocious conditions of the roads in our locality. This problem has been taken up to our local municipality many times, but they haven't done anything to solve the problem, and now during monsoon, the potholes have got filled with water, and so people cannot do anything and children are unable to go to school.

Kindly print this in your paper as an article so that authorities higher up can see to the matter.

Thank you.

Yours faithfully (name)

Subject : The poor conditions of the roads in (Locality name)

Respected Sir/Madam,

I would like to draw the authorities concerned and responsible for the road construction and maintenance in (Locality name) through the column - Commoner's Voice of your newspaper.

The poor roads in the locality has created a lot of problems ! It's difficult to drive on the roads. The pits on the roads made the area a dangerous place, people have started refering it to as an accident prone zone.

Soon the monsoon will start, the pits on the roads will collect dirty water on the roads, the dirty water will create diseases and infections. This will make the area get into a miserable condition !

It is difficult for the children and old citizens to walk on the roads.

It has been since 5 months that the residents are complaining about the poor condition of roads to the authorities, but there is no action taken.

As a responsible resident of (Locality name) I don't want to make my locality loose it's prestige and grandeur.

I request the authorities to look at the problem and take suitable steps to prevent it for further years.

Sincerely,

(Your name)
