This is to draw your attention towards the menace of dowry which has lead to many deaths and suffering of women in the society. Dowry is a social evil which has lead to drastic tortures and crimes towards women in the society. Even in the 21st century, the dowry system prevails in some rural areas. The expectation to provide materialistic goods at the time of marriage has somewhere compensated the basic education and career of a women. This thing has to be brought to a full stop.
