Through a reliable column of your prestigious newspaper I would draw the kind attention of the concerned authorities and tree cutters towards the critical situation of forests.
My humble submission is that people are unaware of the importance of forests.They are destroying this green cover of the earth.Forest s are so useful for every living things directly and indirectly.They provide us wax, timber, fuel, rubber, medicine and paper-pulp. We should grow more and more tree. We must apply afforestation. The effective steps can be taken.

Therefore you are requested to publish a column, rebuking the tree cutters and reminding them the usefulness of afforestation.
