For over two months, name of area has been almostimpassable the heavy rains have badly broken up the surface. Ona dark night, it is dangerous for motor cars and other carriagesto pass that way. Besides, there is heaps of road material onboth sides of the road. Hence there is very little room in themiddle.

Our Municipality wants waking up. Our private appeals to theiroffice have had no effect. It is scandalous that people should beinconvenienced in this manner for months.

Subject: Deplorable roads in Dhaleswar in need repair urgently.

Respected Sir,

Through the columns of your esteemed daily newspaper, I would like to highlight the deplorable conditions of the roads of Dhaleswar, Agatala.

The roads of the locality are full of potholes since it has not been repaired for several years. Most of the roads are completely damaged and unpliable. The residents are suffering untold hardship because of the extremely bad road. The deplorable conditions of the roads is dangerous too and can cause serious road accidents resulting in lost of precious human life.

Therefore, I earnestly request the Municipal Corporation and the higher authorities to take up the matter on top priority basis and repair all the roads in the locality at the earliest.
