Respected Sir,
Through the columns of your esteemed daily newspaper, I would like to express how much inconvenience is being faced by the general public due to the Indiscriminate use of loudspeakers (PA System) in our town.
It is learned from reliable sources that microphones cannot be used by an individual or an organisation without obtaining prior permission from the higher authority and only for very important occasions.
However many individuals and groups are indiscriminately using loudspeakers for their own entertainment or parties not only during the day but even late at night.
The use of loudspeakers at high volume is one of the major causes of noise pollution which causes irritation and headache. The inconvenience is also experienced by sick people at home or admitted in hospitals. Loudspeakers are a major disturbance to the students who are studying for their exams. It is very difficult for them to concentrate on their studies when loudspeakers are being used in all in corners of the town.
I therefore request the authorities to
take appropriate action against those
misusing loudspeakers.
