Today I would like you to put my article in the news paper if possible, I may not be able to give you money for this, but I would like you to know that I may be a child, but I truly want to make an impact.

The crisis of plastic bag is something happening everywhere, we have to face it, it is no longer a myth. And it is not just us destroying the ocean but also, we are destroying ourselves. Did you know that plastic needs a THOUSAND YEARS to biodegrade? And even then sometimes, they only break down into microparticles, this means that fish can still digest it then. Another thing this means is that every single piece of plastic ever manufactured is still somewhere in our Earth. When fish and other animals eat plastic, and we eat them, we are eating plastic. If we don't stop using plastic bag, we will seriously destroy our Earth. I am writing to represent the countless inhabitants of the ocean, they are suffering, it is not fair that we are destroying them. I may be only a child, but I know what I am writing about. When you were 11 years old did you have to worry about such things? No, you didn't. But this is reality. Can you really destroy every single plastic bag on Earth? No, please I beg you don't create problems which you can't fix. A few years ago, I could go fishing we my dad in the river nearby. But now I can't because the fish in the river are eating the plastic in the river. We can't fix everything, but we can stop the problem from getting even worse. I fear that the next generation won't be able to swim in the ocean, or even eat fish, and why? Because, the adults are unwilling to act.
