Subject: Never ending problem of gender discrimination
Sir:
I am writing this letter to your good self to express my deep anguish over the never ending problem of gender discrimination in our country. Though there are so many campaigns to promote gender equality in the country, but the bitter truth is females are still being discriminated against.
Since I am a student, I feel this discrimination on regular basis. First of all, in all the classes, I find the number of girls far less than boys. Secondly, girls are subjected to unnecessary harassment in the name of teasing. Still our parents remind us daily to be cautious as we happen to be girls.
The crimes against girls continue to go on unceasingly! Who says gender-discrimination has stopped. I appeal to the people and the Government to do something in earnest to provide gender equality, safety, security, respect, etc. to women and girls.

Dear Sir/Ma'am,
I am Kusum and I am writing this letter to ask you to publish about female foeticide in your newspaper to make people aware of gender equality which is quite important in India.
No matter how developed our country is now but we cannot forget the fact that there are still some people who do not understand the importance of women in our society.They think that women are less stronger than men.I want the people to understand that now every women can compete with each men equally. Some people don't even give the girl child a chance as they are killed inside the stomach of their mothers which against the law.A girl child brings the same amount of joy as compared to a boy,it gives the same amount of happiness but they will only get a chance if they'll stay alive.
It is my keen request to publish it in you article so that some people will atleast think of changing their their mind against girl child exploitation.
