Sub : Smoking in public places

Sir,

Through the columns of your esteemed daily I would like to raise my voice against smoking in public places.

Smoking can be dangerous not only for the smokers but also for those around them. Banning smoking in public places will prevent passive smoking. Smoke contains over 4000 chemicals, fifty of which are known to be cancer related. Smokers subject themselves to deadly diseases as well as long and short term health problems. So, all smokers should be aware .

I , therefore, request you to kindly take any special step to stop smoking and spread awareness among people.
