Dear Sir,

This is to bring your kind attention to the fact that the condition of the Grand Trunk road in Rishra is worsening by the day. There are several potholes which fill up with water during the monsoon leading to accidents. The road is also severely broken and hastily patched up which makes the road worse.
It becomes impossible to see the potholes and the broken roads during the night. A week ago a motorcycle crashed into one of the potholes and the rider had to be taken to the hospital.
We sincerely request you to help us draw the attention of the civic authorities towards this through your reputed newspaper which is read by millions everyday. I am sure if such a thing is highlighted in a newspaper such as the Telegraph then the civic authorities are sure to take an action and realise the seriousness of the situation. The authorities need to replace the entire stretch of road and lay it with tar again.
We cannot thank you enough for this obligation.
Thanking you,
Yours Truly,
Anubhav Mukherjee.
