Subject: Skyrocketing prices of essential commodities.

Sir,

I am writing this letter to show my deep concern over the rising prices of essential commodities. In this situation, it is very hard for a common person to meet the primary and basic needs of ones' life. The Government has completely failed to fulfill its promises of keeping the prices low. The prices of essential commodities such as pulses, vegetables, cereals, cooking oil, sugar, rice, and petrol, etc. have been rising unrelentingly.

The rich are living a gala luxurious life while are poor are grinding due to the rising inflation.  By taking following steps the situation can be brought under control.

The government should supply food items to the market. The government should strictly act against the black-market. A million tons of food rot every day the government should make such centers where the extra food could be stored and supplied to the poor people.

Through your newspaper I want the concerned authority to look into the matter carefully and take steps to alleviate the people's trouble.

Thanking You,

Yours truly.

Sub: Complaining about the sudden rise in the price of essential commodities

Sir,

I am a daily reader of your newspaper. In this letter, I am highlighting the problems arising due to sudden rise in the price of essential commodities.

After the announcement of 2020 Budget Bill, the cost of daily essentials has increased highly. The sudden price rise of gas, petrol, diesel, electricity, metals etc. These are the things we need in our daily life. The price has gone beyond the limit poor people. It has become difficult for the people who belong to lower- mediocre.

I think this is the high time to raise the voice against this sudden rise of high price. i hope my point of view would get a small space in your esteemed daily.

Yours faithfully,

Ruby Kaur
