Sub: Encouraging people for voluntary community work.

Dear sir

I am a senior at Bozeman High School and, throughout the past four years, I have noticed that the school lacks a community service graduation requirement.

I suggested the implementation of a requirement in which students must complete a minimum of 40 hours of volunteering in our local community throughout high school to the Superintendent Dr. Rob Watson. The students could not receive monetary compensation and would be asked to keep proper documentation of their work. The details of the change would be rather simple and the benefits would be numerous.
