The Editor,

News Nation,

Kolkata.

Sir/Madam,

Subject: Views on banning hand-pulled rickshaws.

I am scripting this letter for you to grab your attention on the sudden decision on hand-pulled rickshaw banning. The decision was very obvious and was keenly been looked for by every citizen in India. However, it also has left many rickshaw-walas without any other means to earn and feed their families. In my opinion, the banning has counterattacked the motive of removing the tension, inhumane employment, and slave-like practice of hand-pulling a rickshaw.

Many people are appreciating the decision, however, they do not understand how the people, who lost their only source of income, might be earning? Through your pompous daily, I want to attract the focus of the government on these unemployed rickshaw-pullers. They must be provided at least a few opportunities so that they can make food available for their families.

I hope you understand the plight of these people and will put in an article in your newspaper to help me promote the notion. This would help these individuals gain support and come out of the chaos of unemployment.

Yours faithfully,

Shreya pathak
