             The Editor,

             The Tribune,

             Chandigarh.

Sir,

Please permit me to point out the menace of rising prices of essential commodities. I shall be obliged to you kindly publish my views by sparing me a column or two in your esteemed daily.

The rise in the price s of essential commodities has become a very serious issue. The daily necessities of life are becoming costlier with each passing day. Prices of wheat, four, rice , pulses, sugar, vegetable oil and other basic necessities of life have touched new heights. In fact, there is no limit to galloping prices.

The steep rise in prices has severely hit the poor and middle class people. They groan day and night under crushing weight of rising prices. The government must release that price line is the life line. Big businessmen and hoarders store things in their godowns and create artificial shortages in the market. This leads to an increase in prices.

More fair price depots should be set up. Shopkeepers and traders must be ordered to put price lists of essential commodities. Black marketers and hoarders must be dealt with sternly. Much food should not be wasted in parties and marriages. People should understand the value of simple living and observe it in their daily life. Every step must be taken to check the rise in prices.

Thanking you,

Yours faithfully,

Promila Seth

Subject- complaint of high prices of essential commodities

Dear Sir/Madam,

this letter is written to you to let you know about the middle class person suffering regarding the prices of essential household items that are compulsory for daily life. I would be thankful to you if you will kind the publish my views and donate me a column or two, in your paper so that others can also get to know

this prices are becoming a great nuisance in our life such that if we are not able to even buy them for daily purpose. due to situations of covid-19 pandemic wheat flour and even sugar along with vegetables and pulses have become so costly that they have touched new Heights. In fact they are not even stopping.

the government must convert that priceline into a lifeline. They should provide some items to the needy. however if the government will provide the items I am sure that more than half of it will be consumed by the rich, will be stored in their Godowns creating artificial storage leading to the price increment.

a part a part of edible items, oils Petroleum And kerosene have also passed all the chat records and are going to set new high prices. in fact, a common man can't even by enough petrol as it can alone drain all his salary. the government must take some steps to discourage this increment in prices and should punish all black marketers who store the items and increase their rates, more fair price list should be set which could be consumable by a middle-class man.

my only request to you that I would be thankful if you will take action on this topic and will forward it to your upcoming newspaper.

thanking you

yours obediently

Akash Rawat
