Subject: Importance of saving water

Dear Sir,

Through the columns of your esteemed daily, I would like to sensitize people regarding the importance of the conservation of water.  

Water is one of the most precious natural resources. Life is possible on Earth because 2/3rd of the surface of our planet is covered by water bodies. It is the basic requirement of all living organisms.

But unfortunately, freshwater is getting depleted day by day due to our unchecked use. We are not at all concerned about its conservation.

Saving water is the need of the hour. We should use it very judiciously and advocate its importance to others too.
