Subject: Problem of eve teasing and chain snatching in our city
Sir:
I am writing this letter to your worthy self to express my deep concern over the problem of eve-teasing and chain snatching in our city. Girls, especially the college and school girls feel very insecure while commuting. Reckless and rowdy boys often indulge in eve-teasing. As a result the girls have to feel embarrassed. And in certain cases, chain-snatching incidents have also occurred
The problem is everywhere; on roads, on buses, trains, auto-rickshaws. The girls don’t feel safe. In spite of 72 years after Independence, the plight of girls is really deplorable. There should be frequent patrolling of the police on roads near schools and colleges, especially in the morning and afternoon. The police cops should be deployed permanently, looking for eve-teasers.
People should also play an active role in dealing with eve-teasing. Any eve-teaser seen teasing any girl, people should come forward and snub him. I think if people resolve, this problem can be easily and efficiently dealt with. I appeal to people and authorities to look into the matter and do the needful. Kindly give my views enough space in your daily. Thanking you.
Yours truly,

Regarding the views upon worsening conditions of eve teasing and chain snatching is becoming these days.
Respected Sir/Madam
My name is Vidhya Gupta and I am a student of MBA. I wanted your attention towards the increasing incidents of eve teasing and chain snatching. I myself am a girl and it would be i lie if i say that I have never faced the same. Usually this kind of mishappenings happen in the isolated roads to my college.
Because of that women started to travel in groups instead of being alone. The conditions doesn't seem to get better as the teasers seem to run so we cannot exactly complain or get their number plate so that police could help. The police did a check on those roads and after a few days the teasers come again.
The chain snatchers have a special number plate where the numbers are hidden or removed or painted and they drive so fast that its impossible to catch them. Many people were fallen victim of this.Once a friend of my mother was caught in such mishappening and suffered an injury in her elboys because of falling. When i went to complain nobody could help because of nothing to track. I was devastated to see a road camera portraying a similar incident with an old women being dragged on road for her chain and faced grave injuries.
In the end I would only request you to focus on this growing issue and try to highlight it.
Sincerely
Vidhya Gupta
