Dear Sir/Madam
I Anupriya Mewar residing in Medha Housing board colony, 12th lane Shrestha Marg for the last 15 years. I would like to draw your attention towards the difficulties being faced by the people residing at in as there is no milk booth in the locality. There used to be a milk booth few years back, however that was demolished for the purpose ow widening of roads, which was never built again. This colony is a densely populated, occupied primarily by the working class people.
This causes other drawbacks for the local people who work and are always in a rush to work. People must travel in search of milk from one place to another which is not only difficult, but also time consuming. On the contrary, sometimes, there is a shortage of milk and residents return empty handed since milk is not available on the booths of other localities. Besides, there is a shortage of milk in the nearby local market most times, adding to the woes of the residents. This becomes very difficult for us especially during festivals where the need for milk if more. We have raised our concerns to the local authority and councilor here and also to the main Milk Department Authority, while they have assured to look into the matter, nothing constructive has happened.
I sincerely request you to publish an article about the lack of milk booth in our colony, the problems we as consumers are facing and also regarding the shortage of milk in the local market. Reading your article, I hope the concerned authorities would take swift action and do the needful, thus helping our colony residents from having to run around places just to get a packet of milk
