sub: expressing concern over reckless driving.
Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I wish to draw the attention of the concerned authorities and the general public towards the issue of more and more cases of reckless driving every day. Accidents due to reckless driving are the order of the day.the speed maniacs responsible for most of the accident disappear from the sense living it the victims bleeding and crying. after nocking down the person ,they flee before anybody can down the number of their vehicles.they have no humanity left in them they think that the road is their private property.reckless driver overtake from the left disgarding all traffic rules.traffic lights have no meaning for them.
the penalties imposed for reckless driving are too lenient to be affective.time is ripe to impose heavy penalties on offenders. a reckless driver who speeds away after knocking down a person to forced to spend at least,one year in the prison cell,after being caught by the police.we need the large squad of traffic police to chace offenders.those who exceed the speed limits must be given at must be given an exemplary punishment.
