Cases of Street crime in our city have increased and are still increasing day by day. Yesterday, i saw a man snatching a woman's chain. He successfully did it with a je.rk, because of which, the woman fell on the ground injuring her head. I called the police as soon as I could but, the snatcher had already run away. The police did arrive but failed to catch the snatcher. Some of my neighbours also told me about incidents that happened to them.
Our safety should be ensured and preventive measures should be taken by the police as well as by us.
Therefore, I have written this letter so that you could look into this matter. I hope that you will take steps and publish this in your esteemed daily newspaper.
