Through the columns of your esteemed Newspaper, I want to express my concern to the authorities about the poor road condition in my locality.
A poor condition of roads is one of the major causes of road accidents in India.In the cities, the drains get damaged. The coverings of the manholes are dislodged. Quite frequently these broken drains and uncovered manholes become the causes of the accidents.These accidents can be stopped by making quality roads and timely repair of the broken roads, poor drainage system and insanitary conditions of roads. The departments responsible for the maintenance of roads should act proactively and ensure road safety.
Therefore, I appeal to the government, to take notice of this menace and initiate some actions.
