Sir,
I want to have your attention that in the 21st century people are facing many problems related to plastic. Use of plastic bags are very harmful for us. Many animals eat it, it collapses our sewage system which lead to flood. Plastic takes many hundred years to decompose. We should see the best example of Singapore it drive all plastic to a factory burn it and form electricity even it's smoke are not harmful. The smoke which are coming out of chimney are smaller than one microbe which is very small. along with this , the smoke coming from our chimneys may be harmful for us. By following how Singapore manages its waste , we can clean plastic within some days only. I request you to please publish a topic related to this so our government can take action against it.
Yours sincerely

Sub: Bad Effects of Plastic Bags
Sir,
Through the column of your esteemed daily, I would like to ventilate my deep concern about the ill-effects caused by plastic bags which are non-biodegradable and extremely hazardous to environment.
Plastic bags are the major constituents of the filth and garbage in our society; though there are certain advantages of using plastic bags. Firstly, the plastic bags are durable. Secondly, these bags are lighter in weight and on account of extensive use, these bags are available at a cheap rate.
But there are many damaging effects of the use of polythene bags. They are not nature-friendly, not being absorbed in the soil. If thrown away into drains they choke them. Studies have shown that fields strewn with plastic bags lose their fertile quality. These polythene bags increase the toxicity of soil and water. Thus, plastic is a great nuisance and a grave hazard to public health as it causes respiratory and skin diseases.
Yours sincerely,
