I am writing you this letter expressin my concern about the recent phenomenon that is taking place on the thoroughfares. People are stopping by the thoroughfare and coming close to having accidents because they stop to pick up a phone call.

Recently while driving down the thoroughfare I almost crashed into a person who stopped in the middle of the road to take up a phone call. This is extremely dangerous as the road is in a 70-speed zone and it is difficult for cars to just stop immediately. There have also been additional cases of people talking on the phone and driving. Please ensure that strict action is taken against those who talk on the phone and drive. Also, ensure that no stopping signs are placed at appropriate points at the thoroughfares.
