Respected Sir,

Sub: Requesting to print an article on the problems facing due to air pollution in Greater Noida.

The air pollution level in Greater Noida has become severe in recent times due to the increase in vehicular population, release of a lot of dry dust air and Construction activities. As a result, people living in Greater Noida faces cardiovascular health issues and even prone to degenerative brain diseases.

In order to reduce this problem, remedies has to be taken both by the Government and the people. People need to be aware of the consequences and reduce burning and usage of high polluting vehicles. Government can promote RO-RO on roads and management of dumpsites to make the city pollution free.

Yours truly,

Meena

Subject: Air Pollution in Greater Noida

Sir:

I am writing this letter to your good-self to bring to the notice of people and authorities the severe and hazardous problem of air pollution in Greater Noida. The amount of poisonous and health endangering particles in the air in the city has gone to such critical level that if no measures are taken to control it, there is every possibility of a catastrophe.  The proportion of toxic gases and pollution particles in the air we breathe has skyrocketed. It is severely affecting our health.

Most of air pollution is caused by industry, cars, trucks, and airplanes. The exhaust gases from these vehicles consist mainly of unburned HCs, CO, and NOx and it accounts for approximately 90- 92% of all vehicle emissions. Presence of these gases in the air leads to many health complications such as, respiratory and heart conditions along with Cancer, among other threats to the body. Children in areas exposed to air pollutants are said to commonly suffer from pneumonia and asthma.

I appeal to you to publish articles on this problem to sensitize people towards it. A multi-pronged approach is required to tackle the problem. The Government must ban fossil fuel vehicles and provide electric vehicles. More metro trains should be plied; more trees should be planted across the city.

Kindly give me views space in your esteemed daily. Thanking you.

Yours truly,
