Through the subject mentioned above I would like to draw the attention of the concerned authorities through your newspaper towards the health hazard causing because of plastic bags. Large scale use of plastic carry bags will lead to choking of sewage system, water logging on roads and highways, overflowing of drains and pollution of land and seas.Plastic bags must be banned to save environment and use jute bags and paper bags. Plastic spoils our groundwater.Plastic attracts other pollutants. Plastic threatens wildlife. Plastic poisons our food chain.Plastic affects human health.Plastic bags can take up to 1000 years to break down.Ploybags have become such a significant part of our lives.So,we must think of saying 'no' to Plastic bags.I request you to publish an article on the topic "Ban Plastic bags" and I would also like to ask the concerned authorities to take some serious action over this matter.
