Respected Sir,
I would like to express my deep concern about how wildfires are majorly contributing to the climate change. In a wildfire, as fires burn, carbon stored in trees and other vegetation combusts, releasing carbon dioxide and other potent greenhouse gases such as methane and nitrous oxide into the atmosphere. This produces a lot of emissions which majorly contributes to the climate change. As you know that in the local areas there are a lot of forests and many wildfires have been taking place. Some of them are caused naturally and some are caused because of our carelessness. We can play our part in trying to stop the climate change by just being aware of how we can stop wildfires. This is a small yet serious matter.
I would request the senior authorities to consider my concern and make people aware about these wildfires through the columns of the Hindustan Times.
