Subject: Cleanliness campaign in Yamuna Vihar
Respected Sir/Madam
Through the columns of your esteemed daily, I want to give an account of the cleanliness campaign organised in our colony during this weekend. We had been campaigning for this for the last month. We had been explaining to the residents the need to keeping their biodegradable wastes and non-biodegradable wastes in separate containers.
This Saturday we started our cleanliness campaign from A-block. With brooms, sacks, poly packs and containers we started cleaning the roads and collecting the rubbish in sacks and containers. All the residents were motivated by our initiative and joined us. During the two days, we were able to clean most of the Yamuna Vihar.
I request you to give it sufficient publicity so that young men in other areas are also motivated to launch such drives.
Thanking you,
Yours truely,
XYZ
