Subject: Harit Diwali
Sir:
I am writing this letter to express my appreciation of the Harit Diwali campaign launched by the Ministry of Environment on October 22, 2018. People are already anguished and annoyed over the problems caused by loud noise pollution, and horrific air pollution caused during Diwali celebrations. Crackers cause immense pollution. Not only this pollution is dangerous for human beings, it is exceedingly terrifying for animals. Domestic animals get so terrified that they hide themselves in the safest possible rooms or under beds. I have seen my pet shivering badly during the mad chaos during Diwali.
Through the medium of your reputed daily I appeal to people and the concerned authorities to popularize this Harit Diwali campaign for preserving our environment and health.Through the columns of your esteemed daily, I appeal to the public to celebrate Diwali without using crackers.
Thanking you,
Yours truly,
Mishu Bhaskar

Respected Sir,
Today I would like to inform you how
dangerous the pollution level has gone in New Delhi. The air has become so polluted that we cannot breathe. The air has become very toxic. If we would burn crackers then situation would become out of control. Therefore the government has banned the burning of crackers.A new series of green or harit crackers are in market. These crackers will not produce pollution.Kindly publish an article on this situation in your esteemed newspaper.
Thanking You
