To the editor,
In my letter to you I would like to highlight the evils of cramming. Kids these days are not at all adaptable. They do not use their brain instead want others to help them out. University life is very different from school life. During school life teachers and parents help students with their work and merely provide them with answers. Thus, they do not try to find solutions on their own.
When the courses of studies are lengthy and difficult, the students are tempted to adopt short-cut methods. They buy 'notes' and try to memorize answers to important questions. This is what cramming is. They do not read text books so they do not gain any extensive knowledge. I would like you to highlight this issue in your newspaper so that it can be prevented.
