Dear sir,

Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper I would like to venture my views about the skyrocketing prices of essential commodities which making the life of the common people very hard.

The Government has failed miserably in its promise of keeping the inflation low. The prices of important items such as pulses, vegetables, cereals, cooking oil, sugar, rice, and petrol, etc. have been rising unrelentingly.

Once the Government will supply these food items into the market, the prices will automatically go down. Besides the Government needs to act strictly against the hoarding and black-marketing of food items.

Therefore, I request you to publish an article regarding this issue and make an awareness to the public and raise the conscience of the authorities.
