Subject: Highlighting the bad condition of roads.
Dear Sir,
Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I would like to draw the attention of the concerned authorities towards the bad condition of roads in our locality. The condition of roads is deplorable with countless potholes making the purpose of the road, a failure. Moreover, things get even worse during the rainy season when potholes are not visible due to the poor drainage system and the area becomes heavily accident prone. The residents are facing a lot of inconvenience due to the road condition.
On behalf of the residents of Mayur Vihar, I humbly request you to pass on this information to the concerned authorities and use the influence of your esteemed organization in getting the work done.
I hope that you consider the request of the residents of this area and take proper action.
Yours faithfully,
Priya Awasthi

Subject: Complaint against the illegal parking of truck.
Respected sir,
I have been the resident of the above mentioned area for the last twenty years. The people here are all educated and go to work and children go to school. I would like to bring your notice that the roads in this area are fully filled with illegal parking of trucks. It becomes very difficult to even walk specially during the rains. Not only this even the street lights are so poor, that it becomes very difficult for people to walk or take out their vehicles during late in evening.
One must be aware that how irresponsible is to park vehicles like trucks in the residential area. Hence I request you to consider it and through your newspaper, I want to make one request to the concerned authority to take strict action against it. Also to consider this matter as important and park the trucks in some other non residential areas.
I shall be obliged if you publish my letter in your newspaper so that it catches the attention of the Councilor of our ward and an urgent action is taken.
