It has come to my attention that there are several issues regarding the animal shelter and Paws that have been reported in the past but have yet to be addressed by the Animal Control Officer or the City Manager. There are many unsafe and procedural conditions at the shelter that need to be taken care of for the health, welfare and safety of not only the animals being sheltered there, but for the volunteers working at the shelter and visitors hoping to adopt a pet.
