Subject-Regarding Nuisance caused by loudspeakers

Sir

Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I would like to bring to the notice of the concerned authorities regarding the nuisance created by loudspeakers in our city.

A recent incident involving loudspeakers was instrumental in triggering a quarrel among the people. In a religious procession , the loudspeakers were blaring out at a high volume . When some people complained about it , it led to a fight between them . Around five people were injured and the police had to intervene.

Also, the board exams are about to start . Students are busy in their preparations. They study till late night and during early morning. And it is during these times that loudspeakers blare out loud , disturbing the concentration of the students.

ALSO , Since it is election time, so during daytime also contestants give speeches which are then transmitted through loudspeakers causing noise pollution.

I would request the religious leaders as well as the contestants to please act in public interest and stop the use of loudspeakers . Also , the concerned authorities should impose heavy fine on those who indulge in such activities. Students are the future of this country . We should ensure that they are allowed to study in peace.

Yours sincerely

Bhaskar Thakur.

Subject: The Nuisance of Loudspeakers during Examination Days

 Sir:

I write this letter to express my anguish and annoyance over the problem of loud speakers during the examination days. I am a student studying in +2 standard in a reputed school in the city. The final examinations are just round the corner. I am preparing very hard day and night. During the day the loud noise from speakers does not disturb and distract as much as it does at night. Especially at the weekends the nose from the loudspeakers is just unbearable. During the last weekend I could not study at all. As a result my stress and anxiety just hit the roof. In spite of the law prohibiting loud music playing beyond 11 o’ clock, people just violate the rules and regulations.

There are thousands of students like me who have to suffer on account of this problem. I on behalf of all the students of the city plead and appeal to concerned authorities to look into the matter and ensure proper peace after 11 p.m. so that we can study. I am hopeful you will give enough space to my views in your newspaper. Thanking you.

Thanking you,

Yours truly,
