I would like to bring to attention through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, the troubles experienced by students of XYZ school, Jammu/Srinagar every morning due to the traffic jam that occurs daily at the cross-roads square near our school,
Due to the poor conditions of the road, we reach the school 15 minutes late due to our school bus getting stuck in this traffic, Parents coming to drop their children off end up being late to work as well. Due to the narrow state of the place that occurs daily. The traffic signal present is also not followed which further increased the frustration of the students. Not to mention the people who are driving recklessly due to road rage are also putting these children and everyone around in immense danger.
I hope this problem can be solved by fixing the condition of the road, stationing a few policemen to look over this situation and changing the state of the crossroads square or providing a wider road. Hoping this matter will be solved soon.
