With due respect, I would like to inform your esteemed newspaper about the current major problems that my town is facing and there are, so far, no measures taken to overcome it. The locals of the town are facing immense shortage of electricity and water. They go plenty of hours in a day without having these basic necessities. Sometimes, these problems occur at daytime when people have to their workplaces. Sir, it is a major concern and I hope that sudden actions would be taken very soon and you will publish these problems to your newspaper so that the whole country could see it. The whole town would thank you and will be forever grateful.

Sub: Concerning the problems related to electricity and water problem in our locality
I am Nitin Grewal residing in Bluebells colony for the last five years. This is to bring to your attention problems concerning electricity interruptions and shortage of drinking (corporation) water in our locality for the last 6 months. Our colony has been facing frequent power breakdown and a shortage of corporation water. The frequent power breakdown has caused many drawbacks for the residents here. The entire area is plunged into the dark and the supply of electricity is not restored for hours.
Students who are studying for their examination are the most disadvantaged people, who are unable to focus themselves on studies: The poor and the elderly suffer a lot when electricity is not available. The concerned electricity authority, CANCOM has done virtually nothing to improve this appalling condition. Besides, we have been facing an acute shortage of drinking water for the last 6 months. In fact, each member of the society is disturbed because of the unavailability of drinking water supply. Corporation water is not being supplied regularly to us and because of this we are forced to spend a huge amount of money in getting water from outside, even that at times do not reach on time causing more agony to the residents
The matter was reported to the concerned authorities time and again however in vain. I, therefore, request you to kindly publish to above concerns that our colony is facing in the columns of your esteemed newspaper so that the higher authorities are forced to initiate prompt action.
