PRIME Minister Narendra Modi’s national broadcast exhorting the people to exercise self-restraint and to observe a 14-hour ‘janata curfew’ on Sunday (March 22) from 7 am to 9 pm, has come not a day too soon, when the entire world is combating the virulent coronavirus (COVID-19) on a war footing. So, while commending Modi for his ‘janata curfew’, the experiment could be further extended to every Sunday for a period of four weeks, in view of the severity of the infection.
