Sub: Inadequate Water Supply in Our Locality
Dear Sir:
I, a resident Green Avenue, on behalf of the residents of the area, am writing to your esteemed self to express my deep concern over the problems related to water supply in our area due to breakage of water supply line. The mercury has gone beyond 40° Celsius; the heat wave has been very intense. Water is the only source of relief in such an oppressive weather. However, the harsh reality is water supply is not only poor, but also erratic! The little water that is supplied to our colony is already of poor quality due to leakages in the water supply lines. And now there is total shut down of the water supply.
As a result the residents of Green Avenue have been facing severe water shortage for many weeks. Housewives don't have enough water for washing, cooking, cleaning, etc. The residents are forced to make alternative arrangements for water supply by hiring water tankers. We have already written letters to Water Supply Department but to no avail. Meanwhile the Municipality is able to provide permanent water supply, potable water can be supplied to the colony through portable tankers. There is another solution. The colony’s water supply can be temporarily connected to Sham Nagar water supply system.
I on behalf of all the residents appeal to you to publish our grievance in your esteemed daily so that the concerned authorities might take action. I shall be exceedingly thankful for the prompt solution to our distress.

Subject: Inadequate water supply regards
I am living is a locality in which major population belongs to middle working people. My area is filled with bachelors, children, parents and retired old people. All the house in my locality will wake up at 5 clock in the morning and sleep at 10 clock by the night.
When people are in hurry to go to office and college/school, the inadequate water supply is very difficult for the people to manage. Even though we get water through public tank, there is a long queue to get water. When people of one street come to another street, there is always street fight not only between women but also between men and children.
I request you to write an article about inadequate supply of water in our area and publish it. So, higher government officials can note it. I really ask this so, people of my area get clean and good water supply and people can go to their work without any chaos and stress.
