I am (Name) living in (Name of the) locality. From a past few weeks I am noticing the number of plants & trees decreasing in our locality, even if there is no construction nearby. I think this cutting down of trees is illegal and people are just cutting and selling it's products.

Through the esteemed columns of your newspaper I want to share this topic and let people of other localities too know about the illegal cutting of trees. You could also add some measures to prevent the illegal cutting of trees and benefits of afforestation.
