Respected Sir,
Through the columns of your esteemed daily newspaper, I wish to highlight the deplorable conditions of the roads of Changsari, Kamrup. Assam.
The roads are full of pot holes since it is never maintained and rarely repaired for a long period of time. It is completely damaged in many places and localities. The residents are suffering untold hardship due to the bad and dangerous conditions of the road.
Vehicles riding on bad roads consume more fuel, reduce the mileage of the tyres and cost more in frequent repair repair of mechanical parts.
Therefore, I earnestly request the authorities to survey Changsari under Kamrup district and take appropriate action for repairing the roads at the earliest.

Sub: Poor condition of the roads
sir,
Through your esteemed daily I would like to highlight the problems faced by the inhabitants of 146, Block-A. Changsari, owing to the manholes present in different parts of the roads. Moreover, the roads are dug frequently by various government departments such as water supply department, telecommunication department, telephone department etc. The workers of different departments visit the place very often and dig the holes according to their convenience-an exercise which causes traffic jam due to slow and one-way movement of vehicles. Such road conditions often cause many accidents, besides causing regular inconveniences to the inhabitants. Moreover, due to poor drainage system roads are submerged after a heavy shower for half an hour.
We have written several times to the concerned authorities but our efforts have fallen on deaf ears. I hope this letter in your newspaper will draw the attention of the authorities to the problem and they will expedite their repair work.
