sir / mam,
Can I and the other citizens of our locality have have your attention on the problems we have been facing for one week. There has been an issue of water supply in our locality before which wasn't that severe but we think the situation has gotten out of control now.
We got a notice regarding the water shortage for the upcoming three days and the water is available for 5 hours per day. But water only came for 2 hours for the next six days and just yesterday the water supply was for 35 minutes.
It would be a great help if you publish an article on the situation the people are going through in your daily telegraph to CIDCO .

Subject: Complain against irregular supply of water

Respected Sir,

Through the columns of your esteemed daily newspaper, I woul like to highlight the problem of water scarcity in this locality due to irregular water supply.

For the last three weeks our locality is receiving very low quantity and irregular supply of water which is not enough for our daily basic needs like cooking and drinking. The few wells available in the area has dred up as they are not enough to meet the demand of so many people. The residents here are being compelled to buy water at exorbitant rates.

Therefore, I earnestly request the concerned department and the authorities to look into the matter urgently and immediately restore regular and unterrupted daily supply of clean water since the people of this locality are facing untold hardship.

Yours sincerely,

Anjali Mukherjee
