Subject: Plight of slum people in Delhi
Sir:
I am writing to your kind self to express my concern and anguish over slums in Delhi. Some of the slums are in the plush areas. It really makes one feel so sad to see the rich and the poor living together. These slums in the vicinity of posh apartment buildings don’t look good. It is estimated that 22 million people live in slums in Delhi.
It is so sad that both the center and state Government have failed to do anything for these people. The Government should make economy houses outside Delhi for these slum dwellers and shift them there. These people should also made financial independent.
Through the medium of your esteemed daily, I appeal to the Government to look into it and take some initiatives.
Thanking you.
Yours truly,

Respected Sir/Ma'am
Through this letter I want to share my pain and concern towards the the endless agony slum people suffer in Delhi amid plush lives and luxury in the City. A vast number of slum dwellers lives in the plots with rich sections of societies that affects the view of the outsiders about our area. These slums are much in numbers and lives with their families with a temporary housing made of cheap articles. According to a report , it is observed that about 20 million slums lives in Delhi. Vice Versa it also recognises the enforcement of different policies made by the government for housing of these slums and it states that government is far slow than expected. Although the government had not yet taken prompt initiatives , through your daily articles I want you to publish this concern for a betterment in the condition. Your kindness shall be appreciated.
Thanking You
Yours sincerely
