Dear Sir/Ma'am,
Subject: Illicit Liquor in India
I am Sukanya Nair, a 12th standard student of the ABD school. Recently, I came across an article which said that Bihar, Gujarati, Nagaland and Lakshwadeep. This does not mean that there is no alcohol consumption there anymore. It just means that this is now being done illegally and is often smuggled in to be sold for exorbitant rates. This is disturbing. Personally, I feel that you tell a person not to do something, they are going to find other ways to do it behind your back. Rather, if you try to make them understand about why they shouldn't it, there are chances of them changing. Of course, it is easier said than done. But the amount of illegal alcohol that is being used shows what a major problem alcoholism is in our country and how it is being pushed behind than tackled with.
I hope that my letter has made you understand the importance of illegal alcohol and that you would publish an article about the same in your newspaper.
Thank You
Sukanya

Subject: The menace of illicit liquor
I am writing this letter to express deep concern over the problem of illicit liquor trafficking in the city after the state Government’s ban on it. It appears as if trafficking alcohol illegally has become the chief purpose of living of people. The prices of liquor after the ban have skyrocketed; yet the alcoholics have been managing to drink daily.
The shocking thing is some unscrupulous police personnel and officials are condoning trafficking of alcohol from the neighboring states. Through the medium of your newspaper, I appeal to the Government officials and the concerned Ministry to look into the matter and take strict action against the culprits. I hope your good-self will give my views enough space in your reputed daily. Thanking you.
Yours truly,
Amit Chauhan
