Subject: Precarious condition of the railway footbridge

Sir:

I am writing to your good self to bring to the notice of the railway authorities the precarious condition of the footbridge that connects the railway station to the Civil Lines. It is not only narrow, but quite weak also owing to its age.

During the rush hours it gets so much crowded, that often the commuters using it feel it vibrating. The possibility of it buckling one of these days is quite high. Through the medium of your esteemed daily I appeal to the concerned authorities to look into the situation and take measures to avert any imminent mishap. I hope you will give my views enough space in your esteemed daily.

Thanking you.

Yours truly,

Upen Sharma

Dear Sir/Madam,

I wish to bring to the notice of the public as well as the public officials that the footbridge at the railway station which was recently constructed by railway authorities is posing lot of inconvenience. The bridge was constructed hastily not taking into consideration the danger it can pose during rush hours. Several incidents have happened since the construction of the bridge and there is a possibility of a stampede during peak office hours.

The authorities should either remove the bridge or make one more inorder to ease the number of pedestrians.

I request your immediate intervention in this matter by publishing this article in your paper.

Your's sincerely
