Sir,
With deep anguish and concern I am writing this letter. Yours being a highly read Daily, I wish to reach the public and the concerned authorities through this letter.
Covid-19 has turned to be the greatest monster killer of this century. After the Spanish flu it has turned this world to a Golgotha. A highly contagious virus, the only way to keep it at bay is through self isolation and social distancing.
The Government has played a very responsible role by announcing a lock down of the entire country keeping in mind the need of isolation. But unfortunately our citizens have miserably failed to understand the situation.
They are still crowding in the markets, flocking along the streets, attending parties and ceremonies, indulging in mass gatherings and breaking every rule and regulation.
The worse is they are even attacking the law keepers when being stopped. In this hour of crisis I request every citizen of our immensely populated country to adapt a more responsible attitude towards curtailing this virus instead of helping to spread it.
I request all concerned authorities to take strict measures against all those breaking the law be they men,women, children or youngsters. A severe form of punishment must be meted out to them so that others also learn the consequences of breaking the law. Then only can this killer pandemic be put to control.
