Respected sir,
Subject- Anti-Tobacco
I am a student(u can write ur job) and want to write u a letter about tobacco I mean I m an anti-tobacco and want u to make India tobacco free bcs I think that ur one start can reach the heights.

Tobacco has many health hazards. Almost more that 50% of the adults r eating and smoking or having a high intake of tobacco products in India which needs to be stopped. This causes cancer, choking, lung problem and many other problems. People know that it's dangerous still they take it. Almost 1.5 million people in India die every year due to some or the other problem caused by tobacco.

I think that telling the ones who take it up would have no reaction or may it can cause a little decrease of 5% but telling the harmful effects and suggesting some medical cases and producing it would bring a great downfall.

Hope u proceed for my request for the people of India.

Yours sincerely,

Hope this helps....

Respected Sir,

Subject: Stop the use of tobacco.

As you are aware, for the past twenty years our friends, governments, public health organizations, smokers, growers and the tobacco industry has observed 31 May as the World No Tobacco Day, WNTD. Though some people may celebrate it with enthusiasm there are others who may do it with some resistance. On this day the people all around the globe abstain from consuming tobacco for 24 hours.

I request you to kindly remind the people through the Daily News about the observance of the day. Please tell them  about the negative health effects of tobacco which currently leads to nearly 6 million deaths each year. This includes the 6 lakh non smokers who die due to exposure to second hand smoke. Cigarettes and chewing tobacco can cause heart disease, strokes, ulcers, respiratory infections and many more health problems.

Each year WHO selects a theme for the day. Publicity materials related to the theme like brochures, fliers, posters, websites, videos and press releases are created and distributed. The theme has titles like "Tobacco kills, don't be duped", "Tobacco : deadly in any form or disguise". WHO emphasizes the "truth" so that people may not be led away by marketing strategies and illusions created by the tobacco industry.

WHO also confers awards to organizations or individuals who have made an exceptional contribution to reducing tobacco consumption.

Kindly give a call for action and ask the people to observe the day with sincerety and resolve to stay away from this evil.

I will be very grateful for this favour.

Yours Sincerely

Deepak Pandey
